Onwrd (“Onwrd”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered interview preparation platform at onwdai.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, and password (hashed) when you sign up. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo.
• Content you upload: resumes and job descriptions you submit to generate interview packages.
• Generated content: the interview packages we produce for you, including scores, questions, and coaching notes.
• Purchase data: billing details are handled by Stripe. We store subscription status, plan, and receipts — not full card numbers.
• Product analytics: signed-in usage events (e.g. sign-in, package generation, checkout) to understand feature usage and reliability.

How we use your information

• To provide and personalize the interview preparation service.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, welcome, password reset, subscription changes).
• To improve reliability, performance, and product features.
• To protect the service from abuse and fraud.

AI processing

Resume and job description content you submit is sent to our AI provider through the Lovable AI Gateway to generate your interview package. This content is used only to fulfill your request. We do not sell or share your resume or job descriptions for advertising.

Sharing your information

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Onwrd:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Lovable AI Gateway — AI model access for interview package generation.
• Email provider — sending transactional emails from notify.onwdai.com.

Data retention

We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can request deletion by emailing us. Purchase records may be retained as required by tax and accounting rules.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, row-level security in our database, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure; we work to promptly address any issues we become aware of.

Children

Onwrd is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date.
